Privacy

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address and the time you joined. Nothing else.
• Ratings: the score you give and two one-way hashes: one of a random device cookie, one of your IP address. We never store the raw IP, your name or your browser details. The hashes only stop the same device rating a story twice.
• Editors: editor accounts sign in with email and password, and get a signed session cookie.
• Pro: the email you buy Pro with, when you joined, and whether you want the daily digest. A signed cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days; sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.
• Payments: checkout is in test mode. No card is charged and we never see or store card numbers; any card details go straight to our payment provider.

Cookies

One cookie holds a random device ID for ratings. Editors also get a session cookie. We use no advertising cookies.

Analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site (clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays) so we can improve it. Clarity masks what you type, and sets its analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie notice; if you decline, it runs without cookies. See Microsoft's privacy statement. How we use it

Waitlist emails are used only to tell you about Trendizz launches and plans. Pro emails get sign-in links and the daily digest, which every digest lets you stop in one click. We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with our database host (Supabase) and served through our hosting provider (Netlify). Usage analytics go to Microsoft Clarity. Waitlist emails are sent through our email provider (Resend). Stories are written with help from AI, using only public sources that are linked on every story.

Your choices

Ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time, and we will delete it. Clearing your cookies resets your device ID.
